This device will be a mid-range offering and is already available in the Chinese market from July.
OPPO A5 flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. A5 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. In the camera section, the phone sets up a 13MP primary and a 2MP secondary lens. There is an 8MP lens at the front to shoot selfies. The device also brings the AI Beauty Technology 2.0, which can recognize up to 296 facial points to enhance the output. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The highlight of OPPO A5 is its super battery of 4,230 mAh. Users can enjoy 14 hours of video playback on a single charge.
Oppo A5 entered the Chinese market last month. Its price is CNY 1,500. In India, it may bear a price tag of Rs 15,000. The phone will be available in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink finish. This is the pricing which most mid-range device stick to in the Indian smartphone market.
